EMDR Intensives

For young people & adults

Plant in White Pot

Intensive EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) offers a focused and highly effective approach to processing trauma, anxiety, and other distressing experiences. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, EMDR Intensives provide extended, immersive sessions tailored to your specific needs, allowing for deeper therapeutic work in a shorter timeframe.

These intensives are ideal for young people and adults seeking accelerated healing, whether due to a busy schedule, a need for rapid relief, or a desire to break through stuck patterns. Sessions integrate trauma-informed care with mindfulness, somatic practices, movement and resourcing techniques to ensure a safe and supportive experience.

Each intensive is personalised, beginning with a comprehensive assessment and preparation phase to help you feel ready and resourced. The structure can range from half-day to multi-day formats, designed to meet your unique therapeutic goals.

EMDR Intensives may be particularly helpful for young people and adults who:

  • Want to accelerate their progress, and prefer a faster, more concentrated approach.

  • Have limited availability for ongoing weekly therapy sessions and need a focused intervention.

  • Want faster relief from distressing symptoms - an intensive approach allows for deeper processing in a shorter timeframe.

  • Prefer a structured, goal-oriented approach to therapy, working intensively on specific issues within a contained timeframe.

The Intensive package includes:

  • Comprehensive assessment & preparation to ensure readiness for processing

  • Intensive EMDR processing (2-3hrs per day) to work through past traumas, difficult memories, or present-day challenges

  • Regulation and resourcing strategies to promote stability and integration

  • Nature-based or movement/yoga-integrated sessions (optional) for deeper embodiment and healing.

  • Follow-up session

EMDR Intensives are offered in-person in Central London and Brighton, Sussex.
