Parent Empowerment:
A 6-week Course set Outdoors in Nature

​Monday Mornings: Spring 2025

Stanmer Park, BRIGHTON

This 6-week Group Parent Empowerment programme is based on the Parenting Wheel and Group Parent Empowerment Protocol (G-PEP) developed by Ana Gomez (EMDR Consultant and Parent-Child Attachment Specialist).

 

We will gather around a fire, in a beautiful outdoor location, to share tea & learn tools to approach parenting with greater self-awareness & self-compassion. Building on your own inner resources, strengths and confidence, we will explore and practice parenting capacities such as: co-regulation, mirroring, reflective communication and more. With increased awareness we can reduce parenting stress, respond with more clarity and calm, and can fully appreciate more of the precious moments with our family.

Yoga Therapy for The Mind: 8-week course for Stress, Anxiety & Low Mood

Developed by Heather Mason (The Minded Institute) this 8-week course is a journey into the body and mind drawing on ancient yoga principles and mindfulness meditation techniques that are the foundation of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Combining asanas (yoga postures), pranayama (breath-work), and mindfulness this course addresses the physiological and psychological dimensions of depression, stress, and anxiety. 

 

The yoga practice is specifically designed to rebalance the nervous system and to teach you how to regulate mood and emotions. You’ll be taught which postures are useful for energising and which are useful for bringing calm to your system. ​

The yoga course includes:

1.    A comprehensive manual

2.   Yoga therapy and Mindfulness audio tracks to support daily home practice

All levels of yoga and meditation experience, including complete beginners, are welcome.

Mindfulness Across Borders: 10-week Course for Women

Outdoor Woodland Venue, SUSSEX

FREE - sponsored by Health Education England

This 10-week outdoor mindfulness course is for women with refugee or asylum seeking status in Sussex.

 

The course includes nature connection, mindfulness, yoga/movement, ecotherapy, nature-craft, and wellbeing activities in a safe woodland setting.
