Mindfulness in Schools

Lana offers Mindfulness sessions in the classroom for children and young people of all ages and abilities. Lana teaches mindfulness in mainstream schools, Special Schools and Pupil Referal Units in Brighton and Hove. In addition Lana can offer Yoga & Mindfulness for teachers and support staff.

Research is now showing a number of benefits of a regular mindfulness practice including:

-improved attention, concentration & focus
-improved learning
-improved mood & emotion regulation
-increased body awareness 
-increased sense of wellbeing and calm

Studies are showing that if school staff engage in regular mindfulness practice this can have a calming and positive impact on the children's emotions and behaviour in the classroom.
